Video Transcript for Review of Hike Crew Camping Kitchen - Appliances - Camp Kitchen - SAR77GR

Hi, everyone. Steve here with etrailer.com. Today we're looking at our Hike Crew 2-in-1 Camping Stove. It's got a 10,000 BTU main burner and a 3,000 BTU griddle side. Now folks, this portable camping stove is gonna be great for cooking hot meals at the campsite. It works with your propane canisters, those little green ones you traditionally see at least here in the Midwest.

And those hook up right there for easy use whenever it's time to cook. It also has an efficient 2-in-1 cooktop with the included Piezo ignition. And there's a view of the back and you can kinda see those legs back here. And I'm gonna show you those legs here in a minute when it's folded up. Those double as like latches, keeping it closed.

So again, you got your main griddle side here. And of course, the griddle can come off whenever it's time to clean. And then, just to access anything from maintenance. (griddle clanking) And then, of course, you get your main burner here. And these comes off as well and just kinda pops out of place.

And then, you can then wipe the included tray down there. As I mentioned before, you do have different burner controls here. One for this side and this one for the griddle side. And then, again, that Piezo ignition (control clicking) to light. Whichever one you have turned on the time, it will ignite that.

As you can see, you got a nice lid. You got the two side panels which are gonna be great for keeping air and wind, dust, debris and that kind of stuff out while you're cooking. So when it's time to put this away, you're simply gonna unthread the propane connection here on the side. Now, obviously you want everything to be cooled off before you do this. So that piece comes out by itself. You can simply put that inside of here. (steel clanking) I found kinda tuck it in there worked best for me. And then, as far as these two wind barriers here on the side, you simply kinda push the lid in just a little bit until you can get these to line up with those grooves and they will pop right out, and they just fold over inside. They have little slits back here and back here where they actually fold down into. And then, of course, you just close the main lid. And then, like I was telling you before, these legs here, they are gonna double as your latches so to speak, to put everything close. Lids just fold right over. Nothing special, they just fold in and out. (steel clanking) And that's what's gonna keep it nice and closed. Now, you do have a handle here on the one side. That way if you need to, you can carry it vertically and carry it to wherever you need to go set it up whenever it's time to set it up and use it. Now, when it's closed up like it is now overall, I got almost 24 inches, 23 9/16ths inches wide and about 4 inches tall when it's fully closed, and about 14 inches wide. Now, the burner cookware will give you a maximum diameter of about 10 inches on that main side. So, if you've got a pan or pot that's 10 inches diameter, that's about how big you're gonna be able to fit on that burner safely and give you plenty of room and everything. The drip tray, the base of that inside of there is stainless steel. So, cleaning it should be a breeze. You don't have to worry about rust, corrosion, those kind of things either. Folks, that is gonna wrap it up for our look at this Hike Crew 2-in-1 Camping Stove. I'm Steven. Have fun while you're using it. We'd love to see some photos and hear about what kind of stuff you're cooking on it. Have a good one.
